With beautiful summer days ahead of us, we have decided to put together a great list of popular hiking trails near Cuyahoga Falls, Oho.

Hiking Trails

North Chagrin Reservation Loop:
This hiking trail is located near Cleveland and is 12.4 km long. It consists of a loop track that is paved from start to end. It is rated as moderate and is a great place to hike even in rainy weather. The North Chagrin Reservation All Purpose Trail offers a 4.2-mile paved route.

Bridle, Castle Valley, and Hemlock Trail Loop:
This is another loop hiking trail located near Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. It is 5.6 miles in length and is paved in most parts. Rated as moderate, it is mainly used for hiking but is also ideal for other activities like running. You are allowed to visit the place with your dog but you have to keep to keep pets leashed.

Buttermilk Falls Trail:
Despite being less than a mile long, the Buttermilk falls trail that is located near Cleveland is a great place for hiking. The trail consists of a moderately paved loop that goes through a beautiful scene with beautiful trees and even a water fall. It is a perfect for hiking.  It is also perfect for horses and dogs, but dogs have to be leashed.

Black River Reservation:
Being only 30 minutes’ drive from Cleveland, Ohio, the Black River Reservation is a great place for hiking.  The Black River Reservation is the 6.5-mile hike/bike trail which runs along the Black River. This out and back trail features a river and is good for all skill levels.  The view from the bridge is a perfect view of the river.
