The Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo is a tradition that has been taking place for years. Wildlights is a holiday light show that uses over 3 million lights. Wildlights also has 2 animated light shows to see and enjoy. “Candela: The Evolution of Light” and “Holiday Cheer” use sound and lights to give the viewers a lovely experience. The Columbus Zoo also has many other holiday related exhibits to see! Wildlights is an awesome holiday tradition to start with your family.

The Winterfair is for craft lovers alike. The Winterfair is made for people who love to see works of art and homemade crafts. The Winterfair features many different creations such as, ceramics, glass, wearable art, jewelry, sculpture, painting and photography. To be able to go to the Winterfair there is an admission of seven dollars. If you would love to see crafts and works of art made by others this festival is perfect for you.

WinterFest is a food festival located a Scioto Mile in Bicentennial Park. This is the third annual WinterFest! At the WinterFest you can enjoy live music, food, and drinks! There are Columbus favorite dishes and food trucks to enjoy. There are also drinks from local breweries to try as well! There will be cocktails and tap beers to get. WinterFest is a great way to enjoy music, food, and have a good time!

First Night Columbus is a kickoff for the New Year. First Night Columbus has live music and shows to see. From music to puppet shows to plays there is a lot of entertainment to see. There are also holiday light exhibits that use 12,000 lights to illuminate Christmas decorations. There are even fireworks to see and entertainment for all ages. The admission cost is $10 presale and $15 on the night of the event. First Night Columbus is a great way to start the New Year.
